Elissa M. Acevedo, APRN

Elissa’s a board-certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner with more than eight years of nursing experience specializing in neonatal and pediatric care. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Biological Basis of Behavior, Bachelor of Science in Nursing, and Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Pennsylvania.

Elissa has extensive experience caring for critically ill newborns and children, serving in leadership roles at NYU Langone Health's Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. She is recognized for her commitment to patient- and family-centered care, quality improvement initiatives, clinical mentorship, and safety leadership. Fluent in Spanish, Elissa provides compassionate, evidence-based care and is dedicated to partnering with families to support the health and well-being of children from infancy through adolescence.
